Ever wondered why your life flashes before your eyes at the moment of death? Neither has Margie, a feisty young psychic, until she finds herself in Limbuss, a purgatorial underworld populated by monsters, giants and some unusual looking circus folk. Believing her to be the Collector (the one who collects your story at the point of death) some inhabitants of Limbuss will go to any lengths to capture her. But worse is to come when she discovers what has followed her into this strange new world.
